If you could get on a plane tomorrow where would you go? Florence, Italy. No question!
When and where did you become yourself? I am always becoming more of myself, but when I first moved to San Francisco, at 19 and began working in fine dining restaurants, a light turned on for me! Prior to that I thought I was going to be a forest ranger.
What do you like to have a lot of? Beverages! All around me, always at least 2-3 going at all times.
Who is your mentor or a person you look up to? Everyone on this team at Cooperativa, I look up to and learn so much from this team, my business partner Sarah. My mentor is Chef Traci De Jardins, who is a close friend and brought me up in this industry. She has taught me to never settle, to find carefree moments to radiate my own self, to stay invested in being a student of life and Traci has always made herself available.
What is your comfort meal? My husband’s garlic pasta!
What do you want to be known for? Lifting up others.
What are you passionate about? Feeding people, caring for land and people! Figuring out what makes someone feel nurtured.
